Join in a sacred journey within as we gather to renew and celebrate our inner strength through Qigong and Tai Chi practice. This three day 10 am to 5 pm daily conference will invigorate your body and soul. Join with Master Qigong and Tai Chi instructor Richard Leirer from Taos, Qigong Healer Damaris Jarboux from Boulder, Solala Towler, editor of the Empty Vessel Magazine and Qigong Instructor from Eugene and Caryn Boyd Diel from the White Cloud Institute in Sante Fe. These remarkable instructors and healers will bring there special skills to Taos for a weekend of a Sacred Inner Journey.

Friday, June 25
9–10 a.m. Qigong and Beijing 24 simplified Tai Chi set. Qigong will include tendon changing Qigong, Intelligence Qigong , Dao Yin Qigong and Baduanjin Qigong.

10–11:30 a.m. Moving qi with bellydance movements. Indigenous tribes from the middle east developed body isolation movements and folk dances. Discover how to move your qi ball through your body for health and fitness.

11:30–noon Initiate Mental Reprogramming of DNA through
I Nian ( Mind Intent)

Noon–1 p.m. Lunch
1–3 p.m. Deep Centering (the Sacred Place within the heart) and Solar Plexus Bowl, (a practice to open and clear the Hara with perception & strengthening of the edge of your field) both great personal practices to calm, de-stress, return to home base, and help you fully incarnate and “take your space” which provides true protection.

7–9 p.m. Kirtan ( Sacred Chanting) led by Solala Towler and introduction to Sufi style energy circle by Damaris Jarboux. Kirtan (Sanskrit: “to repeat”; also Sankirtan) is call-and-response chanting performed in India’s devotional traditions. A person performing kirtan is known as a kirtankar. Kirtan practice involves chanting hymns or mantras to the accompaniment of instruments. Solala will lead a multi devotional chants and songs.

2–3:30 p.m. Mike’s Net, a very effective practice anyone can learn to dispel ‘Foreign Energy’ from self, another person, a space or ‘group souls’ such as family, business, marriage, organization. We will learn how to name & treat (but not engage with, personify or dwell upon) this opportunistic energy that is not ours and how it relates to Elemental Fields (habits of thought, emotion, or action) & ‘shadow’ that are ours.

Sunday, June 27
9–10 a.m. Intelligence Qigong and Wu style Tai Chi with introduction to blending hands.

10 a.m.–noon Qigong Healing. We will safely work with each other learning how to ‘set the chi field’ and do simple Qigong treatment practices that one can approach from a beginner or advanced level. These are great tools in these times of stress and crisis to work with self, family, children, pets, where ever the natural medicine of chi healing is needed.

Noon–1 p.m. Lunch
1–2:30 p.m. A Qigong form to suit the summer season: Summer Fire. Caryn put this series of movements together. Summer Fire form tonifies and heart and cools the body. 90 minutes long; includes a warmup, Fire form, Tao Yin cool down, and sitting meditation.

2:30–4 p.m. Instructors grab bag special. All of our instructors will share their favorite qi exercises, 15 minutes each and discussion.
4–5 p.m. Reprogramming DNA meditation and conclusion.

Caryn Boyd Diel, the founder of White Cloud Institute, has a full time healing practice in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She incorporates a lifetime of study in the areas of counseling, bodywork and hands on healing. Her training has taken her around the world. Caryn has a Masters degree in EducationUniversity of California. She graduated from the Barbara Brennan School of Healing in New York, studied Medical Qigong at the Xi Yuan Hospital in Bejing, China and at the International Institute of Medical Qigong with Sifu J.A. Damaris Jarboux is Founder & Director of The Center Place (1986) and Co-Founder & Director of The Body-Energy Center (1989) in Boulder, Co. She has had a full-time private practice for 20+ years and has taught Qigong, Healing Touch and her own Energy-Body Healing(sm) locally and internationally for 25 years to adults, parents of young children, and teens in High school settings, developing many programs for self, family care and clinical treatment along the way.
An RN for 40 years, she has also trained in Qigong, Healing Touch and Energy Medicine for over 30 years including a prolonged Asian trip and 4 extensive trainings in China. She has studied the mystical stream of Christianity and Anthroposophy for 25 years.
One of the 8 Founders of The National Qigong Association (NQA) in 1996, she holds their highest certifications, a Level 4 Teacher and Advanced Clinical Therapist. She has been a certified Healing Touch Practitioner for 15 years.
She has a clinical practice with a community of healers at The Center Place, a 2-5 year training program in Qigong Healing (Medical Qigong) & semi-annual Holy Wisdom Retreats.

Solala Towler is an instructor of Daoist meditation and several styles of qigong. He has studied the Daoist arts for over twenty years and leads tours to China to visit the sacred mountains and temples of Daoism. He is author of 12 books on Qigong and the Daoist arts, is as former president of the National Qigong Association, and is editor of The Empty Vessel: The Journal of Daoist Philosophy and Practice. Annya Ishtara has been dancing all her life and is a energy sensitive who will be sharing bellydance and qi ball movements for this workshop. She teaches Bellydance in Taos. She is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist.
Richard Leirer is one of the most experienced and accomplished Qigong teachers in the US. He has been a serious student and practitioner of the internal arts for over 37 years. He is considered by many to be one of the few American Qigong Masters.
He was accepted as a student with Master Huang, Tzeng-yu, Lee Henn, Master Hao Tian-Yao, Grand Master Hu Wei-yu, and was trained in the lineage Grand Master Zhong, Hong Bao . He has been officially recognized as a Master by the Chinese Qigong Society of Cleveland for his excellence in Neigong (Taoist inner alchemy meditation techniques). He has studied in China, and was certified as an instructor of Wu Ji Qigong by the late Master Zhu Wei from Tien Tai Mountain.
Richard has been actively involved in the promotion of Qigong in the United States. He was the founding vice president of the National Qigong Association (NQA). He was chairman of the standards committee of the NQA and created a consensus of national standards in Qigong. Richard has ongoing programs in Qigong Tai Chi Therapy for pain management and surgery rehabilitation for the World Famous Cleveland Clinic Hospital. The first of its kind in the United States. He also has Qigong Tai Chi programs for the VA Hospitals for Vets with PTSD. His research with the VA hospital with Qigong Tai Chi in the late 90′s has led to many programs nationwide.
